All students grades Preschool-12 must have proof of receiving their first dose of Hepatitis A vaccine and have an appointment for the second dose before they can attend school. Additionally, students age 16 or older need Quadrivalent Meningococcal ACWY vaccine (MenACWY).  Read More

Chase Cocanougher was elected to serve as the 2017-2018 Kentucky FFA Vice-President.  Chase is the son of George and Teresa Cocanougher of Harrodsburg.  He is a member of the Mercer County FFA chapter where his advisors are Mike Jones, Kyle Porter, and Kendra Rowland.  Read More

The Class of 2018 walked through the hallways at Mercer County Elementary School as the students cheered with excitement. The Walk of Fame has become a tradition at the school and the high school students seem to enjoy it as much as the elementary school students do. The young learners get excited to see the students in their caps and gowns. It encourages them to become graduates as well.  Read More

Mercer Co. Board of Education is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.   Read More
