2018 Ag Tag Program
The Mercer County FFA met with Commissioner of Agriculture Ryan Quarles to kick off the 2018 Ag Tag Program. This March, Kentucky farmers will have the opportunity to support Kentucky FFA, 4H and the Kentucky Proud program by donating $10 when they renewing a farm license plate. The Kentucky Farm License plate program continues to grow and impact FFA and 4-H members across Kentucky. Please consider the youth of Mercer County when licensing your farm vehicles. Administration Talks to Students About Active Shooter Scenarios
Our administration met with student groups today about the importance of knowing what to do in case of an active shooter. Because of safety concerns, we do not share specific information from our emergency plans with the public, but we want families to know there are specific skils that students are being taught to use any time or place they encounter an active shooter or situation where they feel unsafe. The attached document, along with other information, was shared with students today. If you have further questions or concerns, please contact the office.
