Our school district will utilize non-traditional instructional days (Titan Learning Days - TLD) as an option when school is closed due to illness or inclement weather. Our thought is to use these days strategically to maintain the flow of instruction when students are out for multiple days because of a snow event. We plan to use most of the fall semester to train our teachers and students and to communicate with parents before the first Titan Learning Day (TLD) takes place.
Google Classroom will be the online platform for students to access on Titan Learning Days. (Could be snow, flu, flooding, etc.)
Students who do not have Internet access at home will be given the same assignment but in paper form.
Classroom teachers will be available to students to assist them on TLD days. Teacher hours are 9:00-12:00 and 4:00-6:00. Your child’s teacher will notify you about how he/she plans to communicate with students to answer questions about student assignments on these days. This may include email or other electronic means or by phone.
