Welcome to the 5th Grade Academy at Mercer County Schools. Our focus is on providing the very best education to your child in a positive and safe environment. We look forward to the opportunity to work with you and your child.

The 5th Grade Academy has an enrollment of approximately 240 students. We offer instruction in the following areas: Social Studies, Math, Science, Reading/Language Arts, Writing, On-Demand, Media, Computer Lab, Arts & Humanities, Wellness - with Dance, Visual Arts and Music. Assessments are CATS-like, with multiple choice and open response questions. Extra-curricular activities include chorus and academic team.

The 5th Grade Academy and Harlow Elementary School work collaboratively with the Site Based Decision Making (SBDM) Council, committee meetings and PTO. We encourage you, as a parent or guardian, to be as involved as your schedule permits in working with us to make this year the very best year your child can possibly have.
