MCES became a SACS accredited school in 2006. SACS stands for Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.  It is an accreditation that requires that schools meet a set of high national standards. These standards reflect many of the qualities seen in high performing schools across the country. 

At Mercer County Elementary School, our mission is to create a safe learning environment where all students can succeed at their highest potential. We will strive to help students develop "STAR" attributes!
