Congratulations to the students who met their reading goal of 25 books for the 2017-18 school year! They were: Katie Hensley, Brenna Russell, Megan Vineyard, Allie Garcia, Ashley Nolan, Jay Russell, David Stahlman, Katelyn Robinson, Caleb Otis, Cassi Stahlman and Kaia Hancock. The MCSH Media Center has several resources available for your use. Our research tools include: Internet and the Kentucky Virtual Library as well as print material located in the Media Center. The password for the Kentucky Virtual Library is posted behind the circulation desk in the Media Center.
There are several areas in the Media Center with which you should become familiar. These are: fiction, nonfiction, reference, biography, college/career, and story collection. Check out the Makerspace area where you can create and learn! There are strategy games, origami, adult coloring pages, cross stitch kits, Magnatiles, robotic kits and K'nex engineering sets. Let your creative juices flow in the Makerspace area.
Once again this year the Media Center will be featuring the Kentucky Bluegrass Award Books. Come to the Media Center to see the book display and check out your KBA book today!
