Welcome to the Mercer County School District Gifted and Talented Program Website. The Gifted and Talented Program serves students who qualify for services according to Kentucky Department of Education guidelines. These students are capable of high performance in one or more of the following areas: General Intelligence, Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Creative and Divergent Thinking, Leadership, and Visual and Performing arts including drama and instrumental or vocal music.
On this site, you will find information about the programming options available at each grade level for gifted children in our district. You will also find resources for parenting and teaching gifted children. There are resources for gifted students as well.
We hope you will visit all areas of our website to learn more about gifted programming as we work together to help gifted students fulfill their high potential.
