We have several resources available for your use.  Our research tools include:  Internet, Kentucky Virtual Library, and Readers Guide to Periodical Literature.  We also have two online database subscriptions for our students and staff for research purposes.  Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center includes articles on controversial issues.  World Book Online Reference Center provides students’ with the latest edition of the World Book Encyclopedia.  Both of these databases can be accessed through the appropriate links under Links to the right.  Passwords for the databases are posted in the Media Center.   

There are several areas in the Media Center with which you should become familiar.  These are:  fiction, nonfiction, reference, biography, college/career, and story collection.  All Accelerated Reader books that  we have quizzes for are marked with a blue Accelerated Reader sticker along the spine on the book for easy identification.  You can view the Accelerated Reader list by clicking on the appropriate link under Links on the right.

Once again this year the Media Center will be featuring the Kentucky Bluegrass Award Books.  Come to the Media Center to see the book display and check out your KBA book today!  Click on the KBA Books tab for more detailed information about this year’s books and the drawing that we will be having at the end of the year.
