MCIS Honors Veterans - photo gallery included

Chief Warrant Officer 5, Dean Edward Stoops, MCIS Guest Speaker
Mercer County Intermediate School held its annual Veterans Day assembly program on November 9, honoring those who have served, past and present. Students lead the program, beginning with the presentation of colors by Aynslee Ellis and Chase Jones. The MCIS Advanced Music Performers sang the national anthem as MCIS staff later sang America. Students told personal stories of family members who have served, recognized the United States Armed Forces and gave the history of TAPS and its significance.  Chief Warrant Officer 5, Dean Edward Stoops, was the guest speaker.
