Students Learn About Livestock Breeds

6th Graders Display Their Livestock Models

6th grade students in Mrs. Milburn’s Agriculture Explorations classes recently researched breeds of livestock.

They spent several days researching and completing a report on their assigned breed.

Upon completing their research, students used a variety of materials ( 2 liter bottles, yarn, and cardboard to name a few) to create a 3D model based upon what they learned from their research.

Students chose popular breeds from both beef and dairy cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, and horses.
