We support you and appreciate you. That was the message Whitaker Bank staff delivered this morning. Whitaker Bank surprised teachers and staff in the Mercer County School System this morning with a goody bag filled with donuts for each person.
Malissa S. Thompson, Assistant Vice-President, Human Resources Manager and Marketing Representative, said, “We went there to show our appreciation but the hugs, thank you and smiles that we received today was so uplifting and positive. Great way to start our day.”
“It was so nice and thoughtful of them to do this for our staff”, said Superintendent Dennis Davis. “They probably don’t realize just how much this means to us. We take pride in and have a passion for educating our youth. It is always uplifting when your local community supports you.”
Malissa S. Thompson, Assistant Vice-President, Human Resources Manager and Marketing Representative, along with Linda Sheperson, Assistant Vice-President and Customer Service Resource Manager made the deliveries to the high school while Teller, Katie Harley and Loan Processor, Lori Lawson delivered to Mercer Elementary School. Head Teller, Rita McIntyre and Vice-President and Loan Officer, Adam Johnson visited King Middle School as Myra McCrystal, Customer Service Resource Manager and Elaine Wooldridge, Loan Receptionist, made deliveries to Mercer Intermediate School. Deliveries were completed to the transportation department, Mercer Central, Mercer Day Treatment and the central office by Vickie Bottoms, Area President, Kayla Yates, Customer Service Resource Manager, and Tracy Curtsinger, Loan Processor and Assistant Loan Operations Manager.
