A special team, a special group of seniors and a second straight state title complete the Lady Titans' season. The team's seniors, Emma Davis, Faith Lake, Lexy Lake, Seygan Robins and Emmy Souder, have led the Lady Titans to be one of the best teams ever. Their dominance over Mercy, 74-34, prove why this team is state champions. These five girls have been dreaming of a state championship since they were eighth-graders. Not only have they won one state title, they now have their second in just two years. Their back-to-back state titles and impressive record of 180-34 of six varsity seasons prove this is a special group. The Lady Titans are led by coach Chris Souder, who also earned state honors as Coach of the Year. It takes the perfect combination of talent, hard work, dedication and selflessness to do what this team has done. Coach Souder has proven why he has won numerous awards as one of the best coaches ever in high school basketball.
Thank you Lady Titans, Coach Souder and assistants for all of your hard work and dedication. You have given this school system and community more than we could have ever hoped for or imagined. You are, simply the best.
