Creativity and Floral Design
Students in Mrs. Kendra Rowland’s Floral Design class put their creativity and design skills to task as they learn how to build dried flower arrangements.
The floral materials are plants collected from farms, fence rows and school property such as Goldenrod, Iron Weed, Sunflowers, hydrangeas, daisies, and dried in a dark, cool room such as a basement or garage. Containers were provided by students and the dried flower arrangements required students to apply Principles of Floral Design that were covered in class.
