Thank you for dedicating your time to assist and support extra-curricular activities at Mercer County Schools. Booster Clubs play an integral part in strengthening the programs for our students. This web page has been created to help assist Booster Clubs with compliance to Kentucky Department of Education policies and procedures, KRS statues, and district policies. Booster Clubs are considered a separate legal entity and must comply with IRS regulations in addition to Title IX compliance, and are required to meet all guidelines and remain compliant with the Mercer County Board of Education, Kentucky Department of Education and Kentucky Administrative Regulations.
Firstly, please download and review the Booster Club Reference Guide to the right of this page. Here you will also find the various forms in download format required for your Booster Club.
In a nutshell, you need to complete the Booster Club Registration Form, then submit it and the following forms:
• Booster Club Agreement Form
o Must be approved / signed by principal upon submission
• Copy of your By Laws
• Copy of your Proposed Schedule of Events
• Organizational Budget Form Worksheet
o Must be approved / signed by principal upon submission
• Annual Financial Report
o Must be approved / signed by principal upon submission
• Fundraiser Approval Forms (One per fundraiser)
o Must be approved / signed by principal upon submission
• Copy of your General Liability Insurance Form
Once again, please complete the forms, then once you are ready with your forms, you may submit them to our Mercer County Senior High School bookkeeper, Kaylie Watkins via Email by clicking on her name / link.
