This award honors alumni of Mercer County Schools, including their feeder schools and Harrodsburg Independent Schools, who have significantly impacted their profession and community, served as role models and promoted the excellence of our schools through their achievements.
Eligibility
Nominees must have graduated from Mercer County Schools ten years before the nomination. The nominee can be living or deceased.
Distinguished Accomplishments
Nominees should demonstrate excellence in one or more of the following areas:
- Professional Achievement: Noteworthy accomplishments in their career fields, including but not limited to the arts, government, science, education, community service, medicine, literature, law, religion, music, civil service, and other significant ventures.
- Community Impact: Active engagement in community service or initiatives that have positively affected their local or broader community.
- Inspirational Leadership: Demonstrated leadership qualities that have inspired others and fostered positive change.
Values and Character
- Role Model: The nominee should exemplify integrity, dedication, and a commitment to excellence that reflects positively on Mercer County Schools.
- Promotion of School Values: Contributions that enhance the reputation and legacy of Mercer County Schools.

Please submit copies (not originals) of supporting documents relating to the nominee's achievements (newspaper articles, awards, certificates, etc.). If using the online form, supporting documents must also be received by the APRIL 1st deadline for the nomination to be complete.
