For the past many years, Mercer Co. Schools has utilized OneCall Now for telephone and text messaging Emergency communications services and many other forms of announcements from weather closings / delays, transportation issues, etc., to school level communications for important events and reminders.  We want to share with you that our agreement with OneCall Now will expire on June 30, 2020.
Moving forward for the 2020-2021 school year Mercer Co. Schools will be using Infinite Campus Messenger with voice and text to replace the OneCall Now service.  

Many of you may already be familiar with the Infinite Campus Messenger service as we have utilized it to send out Email messages regarding student attendance and missing assignments and grades, etc. during the 2019-2020 school year.  To build and expand on this service we will utilize IC Messenger Voice and Text as it is integrated with our Student Information System, which means it is faster and easier to manage.  

The district and schools will begin sending out communications via Infinite Campus Messenger Voice and Text, so if you see calls and texts coming from a “different” number or in a “different” format, this is to be expected.
To manage your communication preferences for this service, simply login to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal (link is on our web page under “Links.”)

Once logged in, hover your mouse in the top-right hand side of the web site over your avatar and select the User Menu, then Settings | Contact Preferences  - This is where you can update your preferences for voice and text and for example opt for only phone calls, or perhaps opt for only text messages.
